Valtronic Technologies (USA), Inc. announces that, effective June 8, Christopher J. Cassan will join the team.

Solon, Ohio — June 2015 – Valtronic Technologies (USA), Inc., manufacturer of miniaturized electronic products, announcing that, effective June 8, Christopher J. Cassan will join the team as the new National Sales Manager and will report to Jay Wimer, President and CEO. 

In this role, Chris will be responsible for leading sales operations and for the overall management of niche markets, achieving client deliverables, and achieving profit margins, generating new business opportunities and managing the departments’ activities such as sales reporting, territory planning and CRM. As National Sales Manager, Chris will work closely with other departments including enterprise, operations engineering, and administration. 

Chris is a graduate of the Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He will be based in Solon, Ohio.

Previously, Chris was employed with Newark Element as Director of Quotations, where he led a centralized customer service of 25 members and drove growth in dollars and profit margin.  He was employed at Avent Electronics as Sales Manager, where he led a team of 15 field sales representatives and application engineers in Ohio, Kentucky and Western Pennsylvania to exceed sales plan and implemented value-based selling strategy. Prior to that, Chris held general and divisional management positions with Arrow Electronics and Insight Electronic, where he was responsible for increasing sales and profit and loss at each facility.
