Robotic surgery has been one of the fastest growing healthcare sectors in recent years. With the aim to ensure that surgeries become more precise, predictable and efficient, surgical robotics are being adopted to almost every field of surgery. The success of robotics has increasingly become important as we look to democratize healthcare by enhancing the skills of the physician. The improvements we’ve seen in imaging and the introduction of big data analysis (AI/Deep Learning), together with smaller, more mobile hardware, have the true potential to make robotic surgery the gold-standard of minimally invasive surgery.
