Phillips-Medisize receives this year’s In-Mold Decorating Associations, Best In-Mold Decorated Part Gold award.
December 2, 2015 (Hudson, Wisconsin) Phillips-Medisize was the recipient of this year’s In-Mold Decorating Associations, Best In-Mold Decorated Part Gold award. Through the partnership with ZoMazz, the in-mold decorating (IMD) applique supplier, the team was able to overcome various challenges with the very intricate designs. The successful IMD capabilities enabled the customer to launch 20 different designs for their health and beauty product within the first year, which in turn helped drive sales during their special promotion.
With 20+ years of experience, in-mold decorating is nothing new for Phillips-Medisize and the company has been experiencing a significant surge in requests. As companies battle for recognition on the shelf that drives increased market share, companies want to differentiate their product with both decorative and touch screen applications. To support the increased requests, Phillips-Medisize has expanded in-mold decorating with integrated touch screen work cells.
