LayerWise is active in additive manufacturing of metal products, serving customers in industrial, dental, and medical sectors. The production techniques allow building complex-shaped metallic products directly from CAD data, with all parts produced in a layer-by-layer fashion from powder metal. LayerWise uses biocompatible metals and alloys (stainless steel, titanium, cobalt-chromium) for production of medical implants or instrumentation, as well for series production for prototyping or one-off applications. By using medical imaging data, patient-specific implants can be designed and produced.
