Medical balloons are found across a wide range of medical devices and are typically used for placement, delivery, centering, stent placement, occlusion, angioplasty, pressure monitoring, and many other medical applications. We design and develop balloons and balloon catheters for the cardiovascular, GI, radiology, and urology markets. We have the ability to manufacture medical balloons using blowing, casting, and RF welding, which enables us to provide customers with non-compliant, semi-compliant, and compliant balloons in a wide range of material configurations. Shafts and Sheaths
Reinforced shafts and sheaths are generally used in applications where torsion control and strength are critical. Our experience and expertise in braiding, coiling, and extrusion allows us to create pushable, lubricious, and kink resistant catheter shafts and sheaths that fit the specialized requirements of both customers and medical devices. Our sheaths vary in materials and braid reinforcement, and are designed to meet certain specifications such as torsion control, burst strength, flexibility, radiopacity, kink resistance, lubricity, and chemical resistance.
