Among the company’s highlights for this year, Vernay will be presenting an innovative technology: Supravalve MAX. The Supravalve MAX is a unique normally closed duckbill valve design that reverses leak protection at low opening pressures while maintaining a consistent, non-tortuous flow path. This new development is an optimal solution for medical flow control applications including: Blood & System Management, Cardiopulmonary System Management, Diagnostic Imaging, Enteral Feeding, Respiratory System Management, Urology, Wound Care Management, and more.
Vernay will also showcase the Supravalve HP, a high-pressure check valve designed to significantly reduce fluid flow turbulence. This valve was specifically developed for use in medical devices where accuracy is critical to success. The Supravalve HP can be customized with various opening pressures through alternative elastomeric inserts according to customer's requirements.
In addition, Vernay in partnership with Quantex Arc Ltd will feature a range of patented single-use precision micro-pumps that are exciting the medical and pharma industry due to their accuracy, simplicity, low-cost and compact size. In order to showcase an exciting application for the pumps, Quantex has developed a smartphone controlled Drug Delivery IoT Platform called Quantex 4C. Quantex 4C enables patients to accurately infuse at home with more control and comfort, whilst HCPs can view cloud-data in real-time and Pharma companies can analyze de-personalised data for valuable business insight.
