Around the world, the name FAULHABER stands for excellent products and the outstanding service. We have an uncompromising awareness for quality – supported by all employees – to thank for this outstanding position.

Founded in 1947, FAULHABER offers the most extensive range of miniature and micro drive systems available from a single source worldwide. FAULHABER designs and manufactures drive solutions that are unique, due to their precision and reliability, within the smallest of spaces. Their main areas of use include production automation and robotics, aerospace, optical systems as well as medicine and laboratory technology. In addition to Germany, FAULHABER maintains development and production locations in Switzerland, USA, Romania, and Hungary. Moreover, there are sales partners and subsidiaries in more than 30 countries around the world. At present, the drive specialist has more than 2,099 employees.
With the founding of MICROMO in Cleveland, OH back in 1961, Dr. Fritz Faulhaber Sr. made the move to the North American market. Early in the 1990s, MICROMO relocated to Clearwater, FL. Particular strengths at this location include adapting drive systems to the specific requirements of the customers on the North American market to ensure that the highest demands for precision and reliability are met. The most important industries are medical device technology, robotics & unmanned systems, optics, semiconductor equipment, as well as aerospace & defense. In the area of medical technology, drive systems and components satisfy the strict specifications of the FDA in addition to those of international standard ISO 13485. MICROMO was part of the international FAULHABER Group upon inception. The full integration into the FAULHABER Drive Systems division took place in 2019 and the company has operated since then as FAULHABER MICROMO.
FAULHABER product portfolio consists of advance drive and motion solutions, such as brush and brushless dc motors, stepper motors, flat/thin-profile motors, piezoelectric motors, as well as linear dc servo motors, a wide range of spur or planetary gearheads, high resolution encoders, and drive electronics for motion and speed control. (www.faulhaber.com).
