PET Heat Shrink Tubing

Our polyethylene terephthalate (PET) medical heat shrink tubing can be used for a wide range of applications and as a manufacturing aid for complex catheters. Applications include:
  • VARIABLE-STIFFNESS CATHETERS:
    PET heat shrink can be used to add stiffness without significantly affecting the profile of the device, and by using different thicknesses along the length of the device, you can control the flexibility.
  • PROTECTIVE COVERING/COATING:
    PET heat shrink tubing can be used to cover laser-cut hypotubes, braided catheter shafts, radiopaque marker bands, and more.
  • BRAID TERMINATION:
    PET heat shrink can contain a braid and prevent it from unraveling.
  • TUBE MARKING AND PRINTING:
    Pad printing and depth markers can easily be added to PET heat shrink to avoid sending the full device to a printer.
