Tegra Medical, a premiere end-to-end contract manufacturer in the medical device industry, is pleased to announce the promotion of Walter Gacek to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. After holding several senior level sales management positions since joining the company, Walter will now assume responsibility for all sales and marketing activities for the company’s device manufacturing and Quick Wire and Tubing businesses.

Mark King, President and Chief Executive Officer. “We have long relied on his expertise in developing new business and strengthening customer relationships. We’re looking forward to expanding his contributions as the company continues to grow its business in the US and abroad.”
With over three decades in the medical device industry, Walter knows the business inside and out. His past positions have given him a strong working knowledge of all technical aspects of medical device contract manufacturing. Prior to joining Tegra Medical in 2009 as Business Development Manager in the Western US, he spent 15 years with Accellent in various technical sales and sales management roles, including Director of Business Development, where he built and led sales teams across various geographic regions. Earlier in his career he held sales and technical positions at American Technical Molding, a medical molder acquired by Accellent; Nova Chemicals; and American McGaw (now B. Braun).
Walter attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell where he earned an M.S degree in Plastics Engineering and B.S and M.S degrees in Biological Sciences.
