Medical Device Manufacturer Receives Recognition for Second Consecutive Year

BUTLER, Wis. (May 20, 2013) – Wisconsin-based MRPC, a single-source provider of medical device components and assemblies, has been recognized by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as a 2013 Top Workplace in Southeastern Wisconsin. For the second consecutive year, MRPC received the award honoring the best places to work in the area, based upon feedback from employees.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Top Workplaces 2013 program surveyed employees from 224 companies, who employed 102,262 workers in the area. This year, 136 workplaces were recognized within the region. A special Top Workplaces section was printed in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Sunday, May 19, 2013.
The award comes only days after the announcement of MRPC’s expansion in Butler, Wis. This expansion, the first at MRPC’s headquarters in approximately 30 years, kicked off May 14, 2013 and is expected to be complete by the end of November. The project will add 15,000-square-feet to the 85,000-square-foot facility.
“We recognize the importance of continuing to reinvest in our facilities and team,” said Riemer. “With the expansion of our headquarters, we look forward to adding to our extraordinary engineering and design team, while continuing to advance our cleanroom manufacturing and quality processes.”
The MRPC team is made up of 120 employees in Butler, Wis. and 20 at its Largo, Fla. location. One year ago, MRPC acquired ETI Incorporated, a Largo-based firm with expertise in liquid silicone rubber molding. Since then, the company has grown sales by 40 percent and expects to grow an additional 15 percent in 2013, while adding 20 jobs.
