Senior expertise to provide essential leadership and talent for the design, development and manufacturing of breakthrough products
(San Diego, California and Melbourne, Australia – 29 November -2012) Invetech, a global innovator in new product development and contract manufacturing for the biomedical, industrial, and consumer products markets, today announced the appointment of two senior professionals to the management team in the San Diego office to help strengthen customer engagement within the North America market.
Joining the team are Invetech veterans, Simon English, vice president and program manager, and Brian Hanrahan, program manager.

Simon English brings more than 25 years of technology consulting and product development expertise in both scientific and commercial applications. Since joining Invetech 14 years ago, he has managed a range of product developments in consumer, industrial and medical device categories working with start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
Brian Hanrahan joins the San Diego team as program manager for instrument development projects. He has been with Invetech for more than 10 years, and spent much of this time as senior scientist within the Biomedical Instruments and Devices (BID) division. More recently Brian has focused on supporting the development of Invetech’s cell therapy automation offering. He holds a Bachelor’s in applied science.

Simon and Brian will attend CONNECT’s Most Innovative New Product (MIP) Awards next month, with Simon playing an active role as a Distinguished Judge. San Diego’s most prominent event for technology and life science innovation will take place Friday December 7 in La Jolla.
