“Born out of the need for a better mouse trap”, said CleanCut Technologies President Tim Bell, CCT developed the sleek and symmetrical Clipless Dispenser for guidewire and catheters. Utilizing their patented process, CCT is able to thermally bond HDPE and PE tubing in various sizes and lengths from 15” to 217” to accommodate any guidewire or catheter size without clips. Customers have found an array of benefits from using the Clipless Dispenser including faster loading time without any product damage, eliminating pouch punctures, enhanced product branding, no kinked tubing and an overall reduction in packaging materials.
To create the ultimate packaging solution, the Clipless Dispenser can also be joined with CCT’s HDPE Pouch Card to create the “DISK” (Dispenser Integrated System Kit) to safely retain procedurally-related components such as syringes, luers and needles - in just one efficient package.
This packaging approach offers a reduction in dispenser size, reduction in backer card size, reduction in pouch size, reduction in shelf carton size, and a reduction in master cartons – which all result in an overall lowered materials and production cost. This design meets the Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (94/62/EC and 2004/12/EC) for limiting packaging weight and volume, while meeting green initiatives for the utilization of recyclable packaging materials.
